Due to all the positive feedback that the participating restaurants have been receiving, a portion of them have decided to extend their Houston Restaurant Week menus for another week. The Oceanaire first issued the call to other Houston restaurants during Cleverley’s radio show on Saturday morning, encouraging them to leave their menus up for another week to try and raise even more money for the End Hunger Network.
It worked, as at least five other restaurants responded in kind. More restaurants will hopefully extend their menus as well, but for now the participants in the very special “two-week Houston Restaurant Week” are:
- The Oceanaire
- Del Frisco’s
- So Vino
- The Capital Grille
- Max’s Wine Dive
If you were out of town this past week or otherwise occupied and didn’t get to partake in HRW, here’s your chance! The menus will be available until Sunday, August 24th, and — as with this past week — you’ll get a three-course meal for only $35, with $5 of each meal going to the End Hunger Network.
UPDATE: Cleverley has added a short but interesting blog about HRW to the site, with Frequently Asked Questions, comments from other diners and more. Check it out here.
